Objective: To value the correlation of Prostate Volume with Uroflowmetry and IPSS on patients BPHwithout urinary retention that would be conducted at Dr. Soetomo 2015-2017. Method: This research usedretrospective descriptive study using secondary data from medical records to determine relationshipbetween (PV) International Prostatic Symptom Score (IPSS)of Benign Hyperplasia (BPH) without retention. basic parametersis Qmax, Vvoid, PVR. The sampling technique used total method all existingdata in a certain period. Result: 86 BPH patients, age range 45-64 years: 52 patients(60.46%), range> 65 34 (39.54%). PV statistical test Qmax (r = 0.012;p 0.913), was not significant. Vvoid 0.112; p 0.305), wasnot PVR -0.015; 0.892), (r= 0.048; 0.660), Conclusion: There is no ProstateVolume patient

The impact of benign prostatic hyperplasia on bladder volume in radiotherapy of prostate cancer
Background: Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is a common disease among older men and many patients with prostate cancer (PC) also have BPH. External beam radiation therapy (EBRT) is one of the important treatments for PC, nevertheless, few studies have analyzed the effect of BPH on EBRT. We tried to know the risk of bladder toxicity by analyzing the bladder volume variability in patients with...

متن کاملThe Correlation Between Prostate Volume in Patients with Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia in Relation to Erectile Dysfunction
INTRODUCTION The exact etiology of lower urinary tract symptoms caused by benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) has not yet been determined, and the etiology of erectile dysfunction (ED) is often multicausal and includes organic and/or psychogenic causes, as well as their combinations. Although the relation of BPH, and thus the volume of the prostate (VP) with ED is indisputable, precise mechanism...
